John Pearce has lived in the Kitchener Waterloo area for almost all of his life. He experienced a dramatic conversion to Christ when he was 16 years old, and this life changing encounter has impacted him deeply ever since. John graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University (BA) in 1986 and from Wycliffe College at the University of Toronto (MDiv) in 1998.
John first came to Stanley Park Community Church as a parishioner in 1981. He was an active part of the church family here while he pursued his theological education. He became the senior pastor of the church in 1990. John and his wife Judy have two adult children and five grandchildren.
Kit Sonoda is a long time member of the Stanley Park Community Church family. She joined our staff as Communications / Administrative Assistant in January of 2012.
Brad Bauer lives in the Kitchener Waterloo area. Born and raised in London Ontario, he experienced a deepening of faith when he was 17 years old, which lead to him pursue Jesus and Christian community. Brad has a heart for creating cultures of belonging; while working on his undergraduate degree he developed an intentional Christian community. Brad also has a passion for creativity and the arts.
Brad has been brought on board the Stanley Park Community Church as an associate pastor. This is in hopes of the continued growth of the community, and to create a solid transition for the community into the next stage of life at Stanley Park Community Church. Brad lives in Waterloo with his wife Katie, and their dog Ember.
